Props to Seattle Free School

I have mentioned Seattle Free School in previous posts, but they have some more classes this winter and I wanted to show them some love. I'm so glad to see that they are gaining in popularity. I cannot praise this organization enough. The title really explains it all. It's organized by the community for the community. They refuse all monetary donations all they exchange are skills. Which I find admirable.

The school offers some fun hobby classes, the majority of them are crafty-based, but couple of them aren't. And they are always adding new ones. See a list of them here. Learn to knit, how to embellish, how to make reusable grocery bags, how to make cork bulletin boards, and much more. For free! I learned how to make soap and cheese through this school.

Anyway, that's my schpeal. So GO... learn. More crafty tips coming later this week!

Here is a photo from one of their basket making classes.

So little time, so many crafts! I would like to make reusable grocery bags that are matchy-matchy and cute. Right now we have seven bags and they're all from different stores. Plus we always forget to take them into the store!
